Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We only had a few days in Paris and this was on my list of places to try! We didn't get enough time unfortunately to dine-in but made sure to get takeout. My husband went to grab it, they make the pasta fresh within minutes. I believe this is the Ragu we tried with braised beef. It was absolutely delicious! Wish we had time to try more of the items on the menu. Highly recommend!"
"Wow! This place is absolutely amazing. I am only in Paris for 4 days & I can say this has been the best meal of my entire trip. The pasta is so fresh & the sauce is unbelievable. We started with the meatballs which were in the most amazing sauce. My husband ordered pesto pasta and I ordered the arrabiatta Sunday pasta. They both were excellent. The star of the show was definitely the tiramisu, the marscapone cream was so light and so rich in flavor. Victor and the rest of the staff were an absolute delight. The service was top notch and the restaurant is very cozy. I will be returning on my next trip back to Paris for sure."
"came here by accident as the place we were looking for was no more... we did not regret the chance encounter... food is really good... service was good too... and the short wait allowed for great conversation... we had lasagna (dish of the day) and pesto pasta... soooo good... will come back."
"We were craving pasta in Paris, so we visited this restaurant after seeing many great reviews. The atmosphere was cozy and lively, though it felt a bit toooo warm inside. We asked for recommendations and ended up ordering the sugo pasta and carbonara. The sugo (tomato-based pasta) was absolutely delicious! It was packed with flavour, super fresh and made with a house-made sauce by the chef. You could really taste the freshness, and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The carbonara had great flavours as well, but imo the pasta was slightly undercooked. I’d love to come back and try more dishes, especially their daily specials. The wine recommended by the server paired greatly with the food and the staff were kind and attentive throughout the evening! Overall, a lovely experience! I definitely want to come back and try more of the menu."
"My friend in Paris recommended this spot to me and told me the restaurant had just opened. It was almost closing time when I arrived, so there were not many people. The staff was very enthusiastic to introduce the characteristics of their pasta and suggested how I could order. Paris is the capital of food, but this place is definitely worth a visit!"
"The whole dining experience was awesome. Staff was all smiles and the food was really good from the from the antipasti to the Cacio e Pepe to the pistachio ice cream. Super delicious. Resto was small but has a nice vibe jn a non touristy area of Paris. Will definitely come back when I am in Paris."
"The carbonara taste great. As someone that lived in Rome for many years is also very authentic, which is not easy to find in Paris. Got without a reservation and they were able to seat me despite the place being fairly packed, but still not too noisy or cramped. Didn’t try the tiramisu but it looked good So to sum it up, give it a try, but I suggest a reservation if you go during the evening (got turned down the day before)"
"My friend booked a reservation for this place as it's almost always full. The evening came to eat at this restaurant and I was properly famished. We arrived slightly early but the staff were willing to let us in and take our order. The waitress gave us enough time to decide what to eat and then took our order. I ordered the Lasagna and Ragu. All the food (including my friends) came within 10 minutes but we were the first ones in the restaurant so it may have improved the speed. Once the food arrived I happily began eating my Ragu. The beef was perfectly cooked and soft. It was easy to pull apart. The pasta was Al dente and had the perfect amount of sauce to accompany it. The lasagna was covered with sauce on one side and cheese on the other. I chose not to mix it to enjoy the lasagna underneath in a more polarized manner. The lasagna was equally as tasty and satiating. Although, the cheesy side did have a bit too much cheese for my liking but perhaps I was meant to mix the sauce and cheese. My friends ordered tiramisu as dessert and said it was very tasty. It also arrived quickly despite the restaurant being full by then. Overall, a very enjoyable Italian place with quick service and tasty food."
